Nominations & Public Voting Terms and Conditions
The WA Pole Industry Awards (“the Awards”) celebrate excellence, achievement, and contribution within Western Australia’s pole dancing community. By submitting a nomination or participating in public voting, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
1.1. Nominees must be individuals, studios, events or organisations that have made a significant contribution to the Western Australian pole dancing industry during the eligibility period (calendar year).
1.2. Nominees must meet any category-specific eligibility requirements published by the WA Pole Industry Awards.
1.3. The organisers reserve the right to remove or disqualify any nomination that does not meet the eligibility requirements.
2. Nominations
2.1. Each person may submit one (1) nomination form only.
2.2. A single nomination form may contain nominations across multiple award categories.
2.3. Once a nomination has been submitted it cannot be edited, amended or resubmitted.
2.4. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure all desired categories are completed before submitting the form.
2.5. Duplicate nominations from the same individual may be removed at the discretion of the organisers.
3. Supporting Evidence
3.1. Certain award categories require supporting evidence. Supporting evidence may include, but is not limited to: written comments, testimonials, photos, videos, links to performances, competition results, social media content and other relevant supporting material.
3.2. Supporting evidence should accurately represent why the nominee deserves recognition.
3.3. By submitting supporting material, the nominator confirms they have permission to provide the material and grant the organisers permission to use it in accordance with these Terms. Supporting material may be used on social media, websites or other public forums for the purpose of promoting the awards and showcasing nominees.
3.4. The organisers reserve the right to disregard any supporting evidence that is offensive, defamatory, misleading, irrelevant or otherwise inappropriate.
4. Judging Process
4.1. Following the close of nominations, all eligible nominations will be independently reviewed.
4.2. Finalists will be determined by an anonymous international judging panel, supported by artificial intelligence (AI) tools used to assist in anonymising data for the judging panel, reviewing nomination data and supporting evidence.
4.3. AI will only assist in analysing nomination information and will not independently determine award winners.
4.4. The judging panel will consider factors including: the total number of eligible nominations received; the quality, relevance and strength of the supporting evidence; and the nominee’s demonstrated contribution to the category.
4.5. Based on this process, the Top Five (5) finalists for each category will be selected.
4.6. The judges’ decisions regarding finalists are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Public Voting
5.1. Once finalists have been announced, public voting will open.
5.2. Each person may submit one (1) voting form only.
5.3. A single voting form may contain votes across multiple award categories.

5.5. It is the responsibility of the voter to ensure all intended votes are submitted before completing the voting form.
5.6. Duplicate or fraudulent votes may be removed without notice.
5.7. Winners will be determined based on the outcome of the public vote unless otherwise specified for an individual category.
6. Verification
6.1. The organisers reserve the right to verify the identity of nominators and voters.
